The National Empowerment Fund supports black businesses with capital from R250 000 to 75 million

About the Opportunity:

The NEF has been exclusively mandated to grow B-BBEE. The NEF funding budget across all sectors of the south African economy is from R250 000 to R75 million depending on the size and needs of your business project.



The NEF was established by the National Empowerment Fund Act No. 105 of 1998, which mandates the NEF to drive thought leadership in promoting and facilitating black economic participation through financial and non-financial support to black owned and managed businesses as well as promoting a culture of savings and investment among black people.



The NEF has already funded business in these sectors manufacture railway components, steel wheels and rims, roof tiles, bricks, cement, furniture, pesticides, condoms, building panels and much more. Others have built hospitals, houses, shopping malls, office parks, hotels and lodges, placing them at the forefront of building an inclusive economy which helped to create more than 103 081 jobs across in South Africa.
