MDDA opens call for Grant Funding applications 2022/23 for Community Media and Print Projects

About the Opportunity:

The Media Development and Diversity Agency (MDDA) has officially open the 2022/23 Call for Grant Funding Applications. These Grant Funding Applications aim to encourage media ownership, access and control particularly by historically disadvantaged communities and diminished indigenous language and cultural groups

The Media Development and Diversity Agency (MDDA) is a statutory development agency for promoting and ensuring media development and diversity.

It is a partnership between the South African Government and major print and broadcasting companies to assist in, amongst others, developing community and small commercial media in South Africa.

Eligibility Criteria:

This opportunity is eligible for entrepreneurs in the folllowing media fields:

• Community media projects; (Radio, TV and print and digital publications)

• Small commercial print
