Here's a great opportunity for your registered small and micro enterprise within the cultural and creative industries. Business and Arts South Africa NPC (BASA) is inviting applications for the Presidential Employment Stimulus Programme (PESP4) grant funding.
Some key details about the program:
PESP was launched by the South African Presidency office to counter the severe economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic
The aim is to create new jobs, protect existing jobs, and provide support for livelihoods in vulnerable sectors
PESP3, the third round of funding, has been launched by the Presidency and the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture (DSAC)
The focus is on creating opportunities in the creative and cultural sectors with a shared value approach
PESP has already achieved over 550,000 jobs and livelihood opportunities, with more still in implementation.

Eligibility Criteria:
Projects delivered by registered South African small and micro enterprises (SMEs i.e. with up to 50 full-time employees and an annual turnover of no more than R15 million) within the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs).
Projects delivered/submitted by women, youth and people living with disabilities will be given priority consideration.
ONLY projects that have a well-thought-out project plan with clear goals, specific and quantifiable metrics, and with measurable impact will be considered.
Projects which CREATE JOBS and have a clear focus on targeted groups (women, youth and people living with disabilities) will be given priority consideration.
Initiatives/Projects which promote human capital development (education, training, technology, innovation, skills, wellness) will also be in strong consideration.
